Para Ice Hockey Club "Black Sea Hunters"
The Black Sea Hunters club was founded in July 2025. It is a young and rapidly developing sports club dedicated to promoting para ice hockey in Odesa and adaptive sports across Ukraine. The first players of the club included five veterans with disabilities and four civilian participants. The team is coached by three experienced trainers with extensive expertise in hockey and adaptive sports.
The main training base is located at the ice arena in Chornomorsk. Thanks to support from local authorities, players also have access to ice rinks in Odesa. This allows the club to expand its training programs and involve more participants, creating a friendly and motivating atmosphere for everyone. The club actively promotes adaptive sports, offering training for children, adults, and veterans with various skill levels.
Despite its young age, the club has ambitious plans. By the end of 2026, the Black Sea Hunters aim to participate in the Ukrainian Para Hockey Cup and send players to the Ukrainian national team. In addition, the club plans to organize training sessions for both adults and children, building a strong sports community and engaging a new generation in the sport.
The club regularly holds internal training sessions, family events, tournaments, and matches. For the Black Sea Hunters, para hockey is not just a sport, but also an opportunity for socialization, teamwork development, and a healthy lifestyle. Para ice hockey in Odesa at Black Sea Hunters is a path to an active life, new skills, and a friendly community for all participants.
